the pretender

A little retro dressy something for you today. Feminine pink lace dress, strap and kinda lolita black heels with a dark floral&spikes crown and a thick, brown leather coat. I really enjoyed this style mix and I went a bit further and did, as I call it lately, "Hermione" hair, which is literally the easiest thing to do - I was just sleeping with my hair in to braids, I woke up and was ready to go. And as I appreciate every minute of sleep in the morning not dealing with my hair of outfit (as I got older I also got wiser (ok maybe not that much) and I'm doing my best picking it the day before in order to avoid this "fuck where are the tights I swear this skirt was here yesterday oh god i'm so late"

Second hands and vintage shops are the shit. Everything from this outfit, except for the headpiece (which is from sale for like 4$) is thrifted, what makes a total of about... huh, 10 bucks maybe? Plus a velvet blazer which I wear a lot but it's my mum's :P To be honest even when I know I can spend more money in normal shops, I usually just stop and think "you remember you can get things that are way cooler and cheaper", ending up with eventually going on sales besides my second hand usual shopping.
Let me know what you think! <3

What if I say I'm not like the others?
What if I say I'm not just another one of your plays?
You're the pretender
What if I say I will never surrender?

I'm the voice inside your head
You refuse to hear
I'm the face that you have to face
Mirrored in your stare
I'm what's left, I'm what's right
I'm the enemy
I'm the hand that will take you down
Bring you to your knees

So who are you?

you could have it so much better

Here is a little story for you. When I was talking to my friends about "what are going to do and buy when we'll have jobs and stuff" I always laughed that yeah, I'll probably spend everything on shoes and that will be it. As I got my first weekend job lately, can you guess what I bought?
Shoes. We all knew this was going to happen. Two pairs, actually (the silver one from previous post also), and a lot of other things. But yeah, they were there. I found this totally amazing vintage store in my city and literally everytime I go in there I buy something. The staff is slowly starting to look at me like I'm crazy.

This was a second or maybe third time I found in shop something what looked exactly like in my imagination (and we're NOT talking about the first one as it was the worst thing I've ever bought XD). After travelling through the internet to find <google on: black/chunky/heels> and failed to find something perfect and affordable at the same time, I finally became the happy owner of 6 inch boots in which I can walk for a whole day.

I can't forgot the sweater. I usually but this piece of clothing in second hands for a really funny price. I saw this one in August but I thought there is no way I'm spending about 40$ on a jumper. Hey, sales are on, so I got it for less than half of the price and it's my favourite sweater now. Vivid green with a darker (kinda navy) shade, loose (as I bought M) with a longer back that makes it go well also with leggings.

Pics were taken on a parking lot because of 1) the place I wanted to go looked better in my head than in reality 2) the sun was going down and the lightening was awful outside. But I've always wanted to take pics in such a place, so it was a great coincidence!

Take a look and let me know what you think! ;)

Black again.
I've always wanted a pair of metallic, silver oxfords, but with prices starting at 100$ there wasn't a lot to do with that desire. I was hanging with my friend and she was like hey, let's go and buy me a pair of shoes. So I said sure, but please, don't let me spend any money, cause I'm already pretty broke.
She didn't buy anything and I ended up with those. Brand new babes from Asos for about 30$. Thanks Obama.
Lately I also got this blouse from Chicnova, so I decided to pair it with tulle skirt (which is actually a dress but who cares) to make it less casual. It's pretty awesome really - the print is perfect since me and black are friends again and it's super cozy.
As I told you in previous outfit post, I'm into doing different hairstyles lately - my favs are the ones that still change something in my daily look but don't require a lot of time (braids, for example, can be really useful even the day after - I'll come back to it soon :P)
Monochrome with silver - that pretty much sums it up.

Caution: this may contain dark arts, being a vampire for a while and crawling into fountains. Do not continue if allergic to any of the above.

I instantly fell in love with his music. And this short film is just amazing
so you want a box but you don't want a ring?
This place is just not for me,
I say it all the time,
My friends, they just ignore me,
Tell me never mind.
